Emergency Management

Storm

Overview

The Emergency Management Division is charged with coordinating the preparedness, response, mitigation, and recovery efforts for the Holly Hill Police Department and other city agencies in preparation for natural and man made disasters and special police operations.

The Police Department shares emergency management responsibilities with the Holly Hill Fire Department, which provides full-service fire, emergency medical (ALS), and inspection services for our community.

As a National Incident Management System (NIMS) compliant agency, the Holly Hill Police Department can prepare for, and respond to, a variety of hazardous situations with effective coordination and communications capabilities.

In addition, the Holly Hill Police Department hosts the city’s Emergency Operations Center which provides coordination and support services to police, fire, and public works departments during times that routine operations are taxed and additional resources are required.

Upon dissimilation, sandbags will be available at city yards - 10th Street side - just west of Centennial Park.
