Holly Hill’s “downtown” began on Dixie Highway (now Riverside Drive) just north of LPGA Blvd. The Dixie Highway Grocery was the first store built in 1910 by Lawrence Grabe and the family rebuilt as other businesses grew nearby. The few one and two story businesses thrived for a long time and the buildings are still there today open for business.
